Dr. Gabriela Frometa is a general dentist at Professional Smiles. At a very young age, Gabriela enjoyed her dental appointments with her dentist and decided she wanted dentistry as her future career. Her passion for understanding the human mind and behavior led her to attain a bachelors in Psychobiology, graduating summa cum laude at La Sierra University. Gabriela completed her dental degree at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and was considered top 20 in her class.
Gabriela’s goal when interacting with patients is to provide optimal services that are tailored to the individual, and making the patient feel comfortable and relaxed in the dental chair.
Gabriela is married to Dr. Novi Frometa. Together, they enjoy traveling and exploring new places, staying active, and family time.
Dr. Edgar Ortiz, DMD

Dr. Edgar Ortiz, DMD, is a compassionate dentist dedicated to comprehensive care. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Puerto Rico Dental School of Medicine, where he was recognized for his pursuit of excellence and achievements in handicapped and special patient care.
His areas of focus include general, cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry, showcasing his comprehensive approach to oral health. Fluent in Spanish, he strives to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for all patients, emphasizing the importance of trust and empathy in the dentist-patient relationship.
Dr. Ortiz is a proud member of the American Dental Association and the Hispanic Dental Association, reflecting his commitment to staying connected with the dental community.
His mission in dentistry is to provide comprehensive and compassionate dental care, promoting oral health and overall well-being. Dr. Ortiz is committed to building trusting relationships with patients and addressing their individual needs with empathy and respect. Through continuous learning, he aims to provide quality care and optimal treatment outcomes, ultimately restoring and enhancing smiles to improve the confidence and overall quality of life for each patient.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Ortiz enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and cooking. His areas of interest extend beyond the dental office, as he is committed to providing dental care to underserved populations and participating in dental missions in Central and Latin America.
