I highly recommend Professional Smilies Office! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and well cared for. The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. Dr. Ankit Patel takes the time to explain everything and make sure you feel comfortable, and hygienist Ana does an excellent job as well. Saturday Dreams Co.26 October 2026Dr. Patel at Professional Smiles Is Heaven-Sent! I rarely write reviews, but this experience deserved one! Dr. Patel is a graduate of THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA (Go Gators!) and she is also a Davenport native! Her practice is not only passion, but it’s home! I was blessed to find Professional Smiles through Google. After paying $300 at another dental office (near Championsgate) for X-rays and a consultation, my pain was never addressed. Instead, I received a $3,000+ treatment plan for fillings and a recommended deep cleaning, plus a recommendation to remove all four wisdom teeth which would have been additional $$. I was told to start with a cleaning and the pain "may" resolve. I was NOT prescribed an antibiotic or anything. Something didn’t feel right, so I sought a second opinion. Professional Smiles offered an $89 special for X-rays and a cleaning , and that’s exactly what I paid! No hidden fees or bait and switch. Dr. Patel listened to my concerns and created a conservative treatment plan that actually addressed my pain during my first visit. My treatment plan included antibiotics, a root canal, a crown, a regular cleaning, and a wisdom tooth extraction. I also participated in a root canal study! I didn’t need the expensive deep cleaning recommended by the other practice after all! Professional Smiles also offers discounts, and I paid significantly less for my care. The most astounding part was my wisdom tooth extraction. I was terrified because of a previous painful experience, but Dr. Patel reassured me and made the procedure completely painless. Before I knew it, she said, “Your wisdom tooth is out. I just need to grab it.” Seconds (10 to be exact) later, it was removed! No stitches needed. I expected days of recovery, but I went shopping at Disney Springs and enjoyed a soft-food dinner that same evening instead! Day 2, I went to a networking event pain free! See picture attached. By day five, I still have zero pain, no additional bleeding, and haven't needed any pain medication. Unheard of RIGHT!! I am healing beautifully. I hope this encourages anyone with anxiety and reminds others to trust their instincts and seek a second opinion ALWAYS. I had pressure and immense pain in my head before seeing Dr. Patel. I checked my blood pressure, it is now in the normal range. Not sure if it's connected. If I would have gotten a filling over an infected tooth, who knows where I would be. Chronic infections in the gums results in oral bacteria and inflammation to enter the bloodstream. This inflammation may contribute to hardening and narrowing of the arteries which could lead to a stroke. I am grateful! Thank you, Dr. Patel, for your compassion, and exceptional service. Rm V.28 April 2026I had the same dentist for about 25 years up in New Jersey before moving to Florida. I checked some reviews online and found this place to be very promising based on their reviews. Good thing I did. I had what I think was my fourth visit there today and it was another excellent experience. keep in mind that your dental visits are a two-way street. The more work you do between cleanings and checkups, the less work they have to do to keep your teeth in good shape. if you neglect your teeth during the year, then you're just asking for trouble no matter where you go. so you do year your part of the deal and they will make everything much easier for you.Posted on Facebook
