Dr. Novi Frometa graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Frometa will go above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable experience in the dental chair.

Dr. Gabriela Frometa is a general dentist at Professional Smiles. At a very young age, Gabriela enjoyed her dental appointments with her dentist and decided she wanted dentistry as her future career. Her passion for understanding the human mind and behavior led her to attain a bachelors in Psychobiology, graduating summa cum laude at La Sierra University. Gabriela completed her dental degree at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and was considered top 20 in her class.

Gabriela is married to Dr. Novi Frometa. Together, they enjoy traveling and exploring new places, staying active, and family time.

With a strong foundation in general dentistry and a special passion for the artistic aspects of dental care, Dr. Patel specializes in general, cosmetic, restorative, pediatric, and implant dentistry. Her clinical expertise includes procedures such as full-coverage crowns, Invisalign treatment, teeth whitening, and comprehensive smile makeovers. Fluent in Hindi and Gujarati, she values connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds and is passionate about providing comprehensive care while fostering meaningful connections with her patients, colleagues, and community.

Her dedication to excellence has been recognized through honors, including the UF Clinical and Professional Excellence Award and the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award for leadership, community service, integrity, and communication. She is also an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and continues to pursue research and evidence-based advancements in dental practice.

Dr. Patel’s philosophy centers on building lasting, trusting relationships with her patients by taking the time to understand their unique goals and concerns and developing personalized treatment plans that enhance oral health and overall well-being.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, and spending time with family and friends. Having returned to her hometown of Davenport, FL, Dr. Patel looks forward to welcoming patients and helping them achieve healthy, radiant smiles.
